Kazuaki (Kaye) Tazaki Hope Tribute Fund

Kazuaki 'Kaye' Tazaki was born in January 1935 and sadly passed away on 18th August 2014 at The Christie Hospital, Manchester having fought a brave battle against Lymphoma for a year. He will be sadly missed by so many people, especially his wife, Marie; Children, Michiko, Mariko, Reiko and Yoshio; their partners and all Kaye's grand-children. Originating from Nagasaki, Japan, as a young graduate he joined the multi-national company, 'Brother' and within a few years set sail to work across the globe in Dublin, Ireland, where he met his beloved wife with whom he enjoyed over 52 years of marriage. Having moved to Manchester, UK in 1970, by retirement, he was Chairman, Chief Executive and Managing Director of Brother (Europe) and had been awarded an honorary degree at Manchester Metropolitan University as a Doctor of Business Administration. Throughout his retirement he relished his new 'job' as a fantastic 'Gigi' (Grandfather) to his ten grand-children. His battle against Lymphoma was one in which he ultimately lost his life, but we believe he did not lose the battle itself - as we know that the phenomenal team at The Christie, headed by Professor T Illidge, will have learnt such a great deal over the year in which they treated him with such fantastic care and which will ultimately help others defeat this cancer. We thank you so much for any donation you can make towards this fund in Kaye's memory. Thank you
